COUSIN JACK: In the summer of 2015, after crossing paths in individual side projects & being referred to each other by mutual friends, Barrie locals Jake Thompson (Drums/Vocals), Cameron Stevenson (Bass/Vocals) & Lucas (Guitarist/Vocalist) almost instantaneously meshed & began writing together. Carrying over a name thrown around in Cameron & Jake's previous project “Cousin Jack” was born. At this time all 3 members were going through challenging times in their personal lives which inevitably brought them closer together & formed unbreakable bond. 

Since then CJ has recorded 3 singles & have been playing shows non stop performing in a variety of environments ranging from charity events both hosting & performing to brewery’s & rock bars. With highlighted performances opening for Sam Roberts, performing at the Opera House, Horseshoe Tavern, Lee's Palace, & the Smiling Buddha.

Cousin Jack just released their first Single off their debut EP set to release in February 2019. Commonly compared to Our Lady Peace, Tragically Hip & Black Crows blending their passion of bluesy rhythm folk & grungy rock, Cousin Jack ties together punchy drives with emotive energy!
